I'm the senior nurse at BaliDripIV, and before mobile care I spent six years in an ICU — so believe me when I say a hangover is a boring, predictable problem: fluid loss, electrolyte depletion and a stomach too irritated to fix either by drinking. That's exactly what an IV line solves. We rehydrate you directly into the bloodstream, replace the vitamins alcohol burned through, and give doctor-protocol anti-nausea medication so you can keep water and breakfast down. We can't make the alcohol leave your system faster — nothing can — but we can help you rehydrate and support recovery while your liver does its work.
What’s in the Drip
1,000 ml NaCl 0.9% or Ringer's lactate
Sterile rehydration fluid that restores blood volume directly — the main reason the pounding headache and dizziness start to ease.
Electrolytes
Sodium, potassium and magnesium lost through alcohol's diuretic effect, rebalanced in proportions set by our doctor's protocol.
B-complex + B12 and vitamin C
Alcohol depletes B vitamins needed for energy metabolism. We top them up so the post-drip fatigue lifts sooner.
Anti-nausea medication
Ondansetron under our doctor's standing protocol, given before the drip when needed — so the fluids and your breakfast stay where they belong.
When It Helps — and When You Need a Clinic Instead
The classic case: beach club until 3 am, woke up at 11 with a skull-splitting headache, can't face water, and you have a surf lesson, a wedding or a flight tomorrow. That guest is who this drip was designed for, and most people tell us they feel noticeably more human within an hour or two of the infusion — rehydration works fast when it goes straight into a vein. Two of you suffering? We bring two kits, and from four people group rates apply.
When we'll tell you no: if you've been vomiting for more than 24 hours, have severe abdominal pain, confusion, chest pain, or you can't remember whether you hit your head — that's not a hangover protocol, that's a clinic visit, and we'll say so on WhatsApp for free. Suspected alcohol poisoning is hospital territory, full stop. And if your stomach trouble feels more like food poisoning than alcohol, look at our Bali Belly Recovery IV instead — different problem, different protocol. Curious why a drip works faster than chugging water? I wrote up the honest science here.

How It Works
Message us on WhatsApp
Tell us how you feel and where you're staying. We confirm the protocol and give you an honest ETA — usually 45–60 minutes.
Quick health screening
A short questionnaire — allergies, medications, heart and kidney history — reviewed under our doctor's protocol before your first drip.
Nurse arrives with a sealed kit
A licensed nurse (STR) checks your blood pressure, pulse and temperature, then places the line with sterile single-use equipment.
Drip + aftercare
You lie on your own sofa for 45–60 minutes. The nurse stays the whole time and leaves you rehydration and food advice for the rest of the day.
