Immunity boost IV drip with vitamin C being prepared at a villa in Bali

Here's my honest nurse's take on "immunity" drips, because this corner of wellness is full of overpromising: no IV prevents or cures an infection. What this drip does is replace the micronutrients your immune system runs on — vitamin C, zinc, B vitamins — at doses you can't comfortably absorb orally, while rehydrating you. Guests book it when they feel that first scratchy-throat, run-down warning after two weeks of flights, late nights and air-con, or to support recovery once a doctor has already diagnosed something simple. We run it slower than our other drips because high-dose vitamin C is kinder to veins that way.

What’s in the Drip

Vitamin C, 5–7.5 g

High-dose ascorbic acid — an antioxidant your immune cells consume rapidly when you're run down. Doses set by our doctor's protocol.

Zinc

A mineral involved in normal immune function, commonly depleted by sweat-heavy tropical days.

B-complex

Supports normal energy metabolism — useful when run-down and exhausted arrive together, as they usually do.

500–1,000 ml carrier fluids

NaCl 0.9% infused over 60–75 minutes; the slower rate keeps high-dose vitamin C comfortable on the vein.

An Honest Word About Fever in Bali

This matters, so I'll be blunt: if you have a high fever on this island, do not book an IV — get a dengue test. Dengue fever is endemic in Bali, it can look like "just a flu" for the first two days, and the right move is a clinic blood test, not a vitamin drip at your villa. We decline undiagnosed high-fever bookings and tell you exactly where to go; that's not us being difficult, it's us being medical professionals. Once you've been tested and a doctor says it's a simple cold or you're in recovery, we're glad to support you with fluids and micronutrients.

The right use cases: that run-down, on-the-edge feeling without significant fever; recovery after a diagnosed minor illness; long-haul arrival fatigue (see our jet lag guide); or simply a demanding schedule of work and travel. Many guests pair it with a B12 or D3 shot, and retreat groups in Ubud often book it as a group session.

Pricing in IDR

IDR 1.150.000 all-inclusive — travel, screening, the full vitamin C + zinc + B-complex formula and 60–75 minutes of nurse time. Courses of three (spread over 1–2 weeks) get 10% off. All prices in IDR on the pricing page.

How It Works

  1. WhatsApp consultation

Tell us your symptoms honestly. If anything suggests you need a doctor first — fever, breathing issues — we'll say so before taking your booking.

  2. Health screening

Allergies (vitamin C matters here), kidney history and medications, reviewed under our doctor's protocol.

  3. Nurse arrives, vitals first

Blood pressure, pulse and temperature before the line goes in — if your temperature is high, we stop and refer you for testing.

  4. Slow 60–75 minute infusion

High-dose vitamin C runs gently. You rest; the nurse monitors and removes the line when finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an immunity IV cost in Bali?
IDR 1.150.000 including travel, screening and the full formula. A course of three within two weeks is 10% off — details on the pricing page.
Will this stop me getting sick?
No drip can promise that, and we won't pretend otherwise. It replaces the micronutrients your immune system uses and helps you rehydrate — sensible support when you're run down, not a force field.
I have a fever — can you come?
If it's a high or undiagnosed fever, no — in Bali that needs a dengue test at a clinic first. Once a doctor has ruled out anything serious, we're happy to support your recovery.
How long does the immunity drip take?
60–75 minutes for the infusion — slower than our hydration drips because high-dose vitamin C is gentler on the vein at a lower rate. Plan about 90 minutes for the whole visit.
Can I combine it with other drips or shots?
With a B12 or D3 shot, yes — same visit, IDR 250.000 per shot. We don't stack two full drips in one session; the nurse will tell you which serves you better.
